Head Baseball Coach
Coach Eli Lewellyn is entering his 7th year as a coach at NISH and his first year as the head coach of the school. Last season, he served as the team's third base coach and offensive coordinator for the 2020 team that was 10-2 before the season was prematurely cut short due to the coronavirus. Coach Lewellyn was previously the head coach at Northlake Christian School in Covington, LA with two LHSAA playoff appearances.
During college, Coach Lewellyn played for the University of Mobile and LSU-Alexandria for four years, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in US History. Coach Lewellyn is married to Kaylee Lewellyn, who was formerly a Math teacher at New Iberia Senior High. Together, they are the proud parents of their son and daughter, James Thomas and Ruth Jael.
