Coach Blayze Romero is entering his 2nd year as an assistant baseball coach at NISH. Coach Romero was previously the head baseball coach at Patterson with two LHSAA playoff appearances. In his last season at Patterson High School, Coach Romero lead the Lumberjacks to an 18-14 record. Coach Romero is excited about returning to the NISH baseball staff this season.
Coach Romero is a 2009 graduate of NISH where he played 4 years of baseball. During his time as a player, Coach Romero was a part of two district championships and three playoff appearances. Coach Romero graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where he received a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology-Health and Physical Education. Coach Romero is married to Kristian Romero, who is a Math teacher and Cheerleading sponsor at NISH. Together, they are the proud parents of their son Riggins Paul Romero (3) and Cimee Rae Romero (1).
